PERSONAL MEANING
Someone once asked me, What does Cybersecurity mean to you?
Feeling crazy, I repeated the rap of a great legend, Nicki Minaj.
“I fly with the stars in the sky; I am no longer trying to survive; I believe that life is a prize, But to live doesn’t mean you are alive”.
PERSONAL MEANING
Living and surviving are two different ball games.
In your survival mode, you tend to thrive on emotions like fear and greed. Sadly, these are the emotions that cybercriminals feed on.
Cybersecurity is all about Living.
THE ART OF LIVING
To be cybersafe, you have to ensure you are not surviving.
When you are living:
You will skip that link promising you extra data if you share it with your contact
You will not download pirated apps because you can afford the fee of the developer
TECHNICAL MEANING
A search on Google will tell you that Cybersecurity is the “state of being protected against criminal or unauthorised use of electronic data”.
It is also defined as the “practice of securing networks, systems and other digital infrastructure from malicious attacks”.
CYBER SECURITY
Cybersecurity demands your logical and calm being.
Your logical being, who knows all good things will come your way even if you don’t bring two people.
