The Models🤗

This beautiful cybersecurity model (moi)🙈🥰 uses the NIST model😉.

NIST is the National Institute of Standards and Technology at the U.S. Department of Commerce. This institute has created frameworks, and models to help businesses and organizations.

The NIST Model Of Cloud Computing

I spoke about cloud computing in my last post and as we know it, a business without rules or guidelines won’t survive.
In life generally, a lawless place is a chaotic place.

NIST has provided a cloud computing model for cloud providers and cloud users. This model comprises the characteristics of The Cloud, different ways to use The Cloud, and the services that can be rendered.

Cloud Providers are those that provide online services to people and organizations. We have the big 3: Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The NIST Model of Cloud Computing includes:
👉🏾Essential Characteristics
👉🏾Service Models
👉🏾Deployment Models

👉🏾Essential Characteristics are attributes of cloud devices. These characteristics Include:

🧑🏽‍💻Broad Network Access: Cloud computing allows access to a range of networks.
If you have a flash drive, you left it at home while going to work. You won’t be able to access the files on the flash drive till you go back home.
But with cloud computing, your files will be saved online, so you can log in to any device, anywhere, and at any time and be able to access your files.

🧑🏽‍💻Rapid Elasticity: This allows users or organizations to adapt to changes. With cloud computing, you can easily provision (add) or de-provision (remove) cloud resources.
If your Google storage gets filled up, you can easily pay to get access to more storage. This can be done as fast as possible. You don’t have to get dressed to the store to find the right hard drive.

🧑🏽‍💻Measure Service: Cloud computing allows you to easily know how much you will be spending on devices and resources. It has a meter gauge that allows you to monitor how many resources you are using.
At home, you have an electricity meter, when your power supply finishes, you can pay and order another one. Cloud computing does this for cloud resources.

🧑🏽‍💻On-Demand Self-Service: With cloud computing, you can easily add devices or resources without human interaction.
You can’t set up a server in a data center without human interaction. And can I say this will take a lot of time? But you can easily set up your virtual server.

🧑🏽‍💻Resource Pooling: This allows multiple clients to access the same resources at the same time.
A flash drive can’t be connected to two systems simultaneously. However, two people can comment on a Google document, and they can access files stored in a Google Drive through the link.

Do you prefer a flash drive to your Google Drive, one drive, or iCloud?
