ALL ABOUT LINKEDIN
LinkedIn as an app can be found to be scary or unrelatable when compared to other social media.
But it doesn’t have to be.
LinkedIn is a place where you can meet, talk, and network with people that life or your environment may not have allowed you to meet.
LinkedIn is that levelling field.
LINKEDIN IN TWO WORDS
If i were asked to define LinkedIn in two words, i would say Professional Amebo.
LinkedIn tells everyone what you are doing, such as visiting a person’s page or commenting on another’s post.
LinkedIn informs your followers what you are up to.
Amebo is a Nigerian slang term for gossip or tattle tales.
NAVIGATING LINKEDIN
Since LinkedIn is a professional tattle tale. It rewards those who follow its lead.
You have to embody the attributes of a tattle tale on LinkedIn.
Tell the world about your achievements, share daily lessons, voice your thoughts and opinions on subjects, show up, and try to be everywhere.
These are my best recommendations.
GET STARTED
The LinkedIn app might seem difficult or daunting to use. But you have to check it out and play around with it to understand it.
In your quest to stay on people’s minds, remember that it is a professional app, and your interactions must be up to par.

GENERAL TIPS
• Use a high-quality professional picture as your display picture
• Your headline should be a summary of who you are and what you do
• Your bio should take people on your career journey – how you started and where you are now
• Connect with people rather than following.
When you follow people, you only get to see their posts. But when you connect, it goes both ways
• Share your journey and engage with other people’s content
