CyberSecurity is all about every one of us: Protecting ourselves online💪🏾, ensuring the organizations we deal with protect our data🤝🏾, and the government respects our privacy.
I learned about these topics when I researched cybersecurity attacks, concepts, and techniques.
Attacks include malware and possible techniques like social engineering.
I learned about vulnerabilities and ways to avoid or solve them. One way listed was software updates or patches.
It is important for organizations to find and patch software before they get exploited by threat actors.
In Japan, there is a custom called Kintsugi. In this custom, broken objects are often patched or repaired with gold. This patch is now seen as a unique piece of the object’s history, which adds to its beauty.
Patching software has never been made any beautiful😍 until I learned this concept.
It is always better to have a patched software than an exploited software.
What are other ways to protect an individual or organization?
Have you heard of Kintsugi before?
